Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Case Manager to join our team.

Job Description

The Senior Case Manager will be responsible for providing case management services to adults subject to community orders, focusing on safety, risk assessment, and rehabilitation. This includes operating in accordance with assessed risk and need, maintaining high standards of assessment to support effective supervision, facilitating reintegration and improving rehabilitation outcomes for individuals under community-based orders, and consulting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations to support culturally informed practices and address Indigenous over-representation in the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management for adults subject to community orders, focusing on safety, risk assessment, and rehabilitation.
  • Operate in accordance with assessed risk and need, maintaining high standards of assessment to support effective supervision.
  • Facilitate reintegration and improve rehabilitation outcomes for individuals under community-based orders.
  • Consult with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations to support culturally informed practices and address Indigenous over-representation in the criminal justice system.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Possession of a driver's licence (minimum C class Australian licence) is mandatory as travel across various locations is required.
  • May be required to work hours outside the normal work hours and travel to other locations, or temporarily work from an alternate location.
  • Individuals employed on a permanent or temporary basis will be required to complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community). All activities and assessments associated with the Certificate IV are to be completed within 12 months of commencing employment, and certification achieved within 18 months.

  • Allowances will apply where applicable as negotiated in accordance with the Domestic Travelling and Relieving Expenses Directive.
