Key Insights Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous professional to support the investment team by transforming raw data into actionable insights.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Analyze vast datasets and financial metrics to identify hidden opportunities for early-stage investments.
  • Monitor industry trends, deal activity, and portfolio performance closely.
  • Provide research support for emerging markets, sectors, and technologies.
  • Design insightful dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and market developments.
  • Maintain and improve internal databases of companies, contacts, and industry benchmarks efficiently.
  • Automate routine data tasks using Excel, SQL, or lightweight scripting tools effectively.
  • Assist in preparing comprehensive reports, visuals, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support due diligence processes with in-depth data analysis and benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with associates and partners to deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Help implement native AI solutions across the organization to enhance efficiency and deal quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field is essential.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or consulting is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in startups or venture capital firms is strongly preferred; a demonstrated interest is also valued.
  • Advanced Excel skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Python or R programming languages.
  • SQL proficiency for querying structured datasets is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is an asset.
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time).
