Business Intelligence Specialists drive business decisions with data insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support internal analyses and generate valuable insights from complex data sets to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Effectively communicate technical insights through clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages including Python, SQL, and R is essential.
  • Applied expertise in statistical modeling and experimental design, including sampling, confidence intervals, and agreement metrics.
  • Experience working with large datasets, scaling analysis as data volume grows.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence/visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Sisense, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience in cloud environments preferred.
  • Excellent ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • Ability to support client meetings as a subject-matter expert, while primarily focused on internal analysis and insights.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a quantitative role, demonstrating ability to navigate ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. An advanced degree is advantageous but not required.
  • Proficiency in SQL, manipulating data within relational databases, is crucial.
  • Statistical Knowledge: solid understanding of probability, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and more.
  • Database and Data Warehousing: knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes is vital.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills are necessary.
