Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion.

This role will involve supporting the project team in coordinating pre-construction activities, bid preparation, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking project progress, milestones, and budgets, addressing risks and issues, and managing subcontractors, laborers, and materials to ensure timely progress.

The Construction Project Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on project status, resolving delays or issues, managing project schedules, scope, and inspections required by authorities, utilizing project management software for task management and reporting, maintaining documentation and facilitating communication among stakeholders, and handling financial aspects such as estimating, change orders, and project closeout.

  • Support construction projects from inception to completion, overseeing budgets, subcontractors, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities, bid preparation, and project timelines.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and budgets, addressing risks and issues.
  • Manage subcontractors, laborers, and materials to ensure timely progress.
  • Monitor and report on project status, resolving delays or issues.
  • Manage project schedules, scope, and inspections required by authorities.
  • Utilize project management software for task management and reporting.
  • Maintain documentation and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
  • Handle financial aspects such as estimating, change orders, and project closeout.
Requirements
  • 4 to 6 years of construction or project management experience or equivalent education.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in residential construction, particularly townhouses, single-family homes, and small apartments.
  • Effective communication skills with subcontractors, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Ability to prepare and track project timelines and budgets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • A team player willing to work in a fast-paced, growing small business.
