Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Senior Technology Specialist. This role involves providing technical support and guidance on Linux-based systems, Windows Server, Virtual Hyper-V, cloud technology, web hosting, VoIP systems, domain management, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and optimize Linux-based systems for performance and reliability.
  • Manage and maintain Windows Server and Virtual Hyper-V environments for efficient operation.
  • Utilize cloud technologies to enhance scalability and flexibility of IT systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot web hosting environments, with a focus on Cloudron web hosting expertise.
  • Handle VoIP systems, including Asterisk, Vicidial, and 3CX, to support telecommunication services.
  • Manage domain registration and DNS settings with leading providers.
  • Oversee S3 bucket storage management to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Utilize programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel to support web development projects.
  • Manage email servers and possess knowledge of Group Office software for efficient communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Linux administration, Windows Server/Virtual Hyper-V, and cloud technology.
  • Familiarity with web hosting environments; Cloudron web hosting experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in VoIP systems administration, including Asterisk, Vicidial, and 3CX.
  • Experience with domain management through leading providers.
  • Knowledge of S3 bucket storage management and best practices.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel.
  • Experience in email server management and familiarity with Group Office software is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
