Senior Enterprise Technology Specialist

The Technical Support Engineer acts as a subject matter expert for enterprise accounts, providing technical assistance in both standard and custom deployment environments.
They are responsible for answering technical questions, assisting with supported upgrades, peer training, personal continued education, and contributing to reference documentation.
- Provide support for standard and custom deployments through a ticketing system
- Efficiently reproduce reported issues, identify root causes, and provide solutions
- Open bug reports and feature requests in Jira and Aha
- Conduct monthly technical check-ins with each business unit, discuss open support tickets, and offer best practice recommendations
- Ensure customer environments are on supported LTS versions
- Contribute to reference documentation, lead peer training, consult with content teams, own personal technical education journey, and contribute to departmental initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in a support role
- 3+ years of experience in Big Data, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies
- Big Data skills, including Teradata, Hadoop, Data Lakes, and Spark
- Docker and Kubernetes expertise
- Cloud technologies knowledge, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Security skills, including authentication (LDAP, OAuth2.0) and authorization technologies
- SSL/TLS knowledge
- Linux Skills
- DBMS Concepts/SQL Exposure Languages: SQL, Java, Python, Bash
