As a Financial Expert, you will play a pivotal role in our day-to-day accounting and financial processes.

Job Role:

The position requires preparation and posting of journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments. You will also help deliver accurate, complete, and timely financial reports.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post journal entries for different transactions.
  • Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) inquiries.
  • Draft and send invoices to clients and/or draft bills received from vendors.
  • Consolidate and send documents (invoices/payment proof/bank statement).
  • Support integration of systems, processes, and reporting structures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent courses.
  • CPA title and US GAAP familiarity are a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as an accounting professional, preferably with external and/or internal audit experience or an accounting firm.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to dissect and comprehend legal agreements between entities.
  • Experience using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.
  • Can reconcile external documentation and company records to ensure transactions match and resolve discrepancies.
  • Can make adjustments as needed, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
  • Experience in intercompany reconciliation.
  • Can comprehend essential financial statements like profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
  • Collaborative team player.
