Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our advanced threat detection and response efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and the cyber kill chain. They will be responsible for developing and refining detection rules, correlation logic, and alerting configurations to increase the fidelity of security signals.

In addition, they will conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to inform detection logic and improve response capabilities. The successful applicant will also collaborate with global engineering and security counterparts to contain and mitigate threats in a coordinated and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads advanced threat detection, investigation, and response activities across cloud, endpoint, and web application layers.
  • Performs in-depth analysis of security incidents using various tools such as endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms, security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Develops and refines detection rules, correlation logic, and alerting configurations to increase the fidelity of security signals.
  • Collaborates with global engineering and security counterparts to contain and mitigate threats in a coordinated and effective manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, specializing in cyber defense, threat response, and/or security operations.
  • Hands-on experience with incident handling across web applications, endpoint platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux), and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, threat actor TTPs, and the cyber kill chain.
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools, EDR/XDR platforms, SOAR solutions, network and host-based forensics tools, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Scripting skills using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate tasks and enhance response workflows.
