Assistant Manager, Threat Intelligence, Information SecurityApply locations: City of Dreams ManilaTime type: Full timePosted on: Posted 30+ Days AgoTime left to apply: End Date: June 30, days left to apply)Job requisition id: REQ11041POSITION SUMMARY:The Assistant Manager, Threat Intelligence, Information Security, is responsible for supervising threat detection and response activities through regular review of SIEM, IPS, EDR, and other security platforms. This role leverages extensive Digital Forensics and Incident Response experience to manage the team's caseload across the entire incident response lifecycle, from start to finish. The position requires collaboration with the Global Security Incident Response Manager, emphasizing teamwork and sharing methodologies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide quick fixes and long-term remediations after cybersecurity incidents to enhance the company's security posture. Prepare and review incident reports to update stakeholders. Maintain situational awareness and stay current with cybersecurity news and threat actor Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
Review and improve existing cybersecurity tactics, techniques, and procedures. Monitor developing cybersecurity incidents and assign analysts for assessment and resolution. Conduct incident response activities: identify threats, detect incidents, protect the company, respond to incidents, and recover to a safe state.
Advise leadership on best practices and potential courses of action regarding cybersecurity issues. Support and collaborate with investigations and forensics teams during active incidents. QUALIFICATIONS:Experience: Over four (4) years in cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or three years of equivalent experience. Skills/Competencies:Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux). Knowledge of security technologies such as IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, proxies, and log data interpretation.
Proficiency with security tools like Antivirus, Antispam, EDR, Firewalls, DLP, SIEM.Knowledge of cybersecurity management, best practices, and strategic advice. Understanding of security principles like SANS Top 20 and OWASP Top 10. Experience in incident and event management, log analysis, malware investigation, SIEM correlation, and alerting.
Ability to conduct post-incident reviews and identify gaps. Capability to handle major cyber incidents and coordinate across teams. Skills in analysis, reporting, and presenting findings to technical and executive stakeholders.
