Healthcare Claims Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or claims management and be proficient in Prompt EMR and Microsoft Office Suite.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies electronically and in paper form.
- Post payments from insurance companies and patients into the electronic medical records system.
- Reconcile patient accounts and identify discrepancies or payment issues.
- Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims with insurance companies.
- Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized accounts receivable system and generate regular aging reports.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or claims management.
- Familiarity with Prompt EMR and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
