Contract Administrator Role

This position involves contract administration, ensuring compliance with terms, scopes, and inclusions/exclusions.

  • Manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, reviewing and verifying contract terms and scope coverage.
  • Double-check material quantities and scope coverage against project requirements, using Bluebeam to review drawings and perform takeoffs as required.
  • Identify discrepancies or gaps in contractor submissions and recommend solutions, comparing contractor quotes and scopes for accurate evaluation.
  • Prepare recommendations for contractor selection based on price, scope, and compliance, maintaining up-to-date records of contractor pricing and project-related documentation.
  • Liaise closely with the Construction Manager, Estimating team, and project stakeholders, coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve queries or discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in contract administration or project support within the construction industry, with proficiency in Bluebeam and approval software.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, scopes, and construction documentation, with ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • High attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with construction management software.
  • Organised, process-driven, and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
