US Senior Accountant Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced US Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will involve providing end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, partnering with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting, designing and implementing processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350, and preparing and presenting financial reports for senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical accounting tasks, including General Ledger Accounting and ASC 606 recording.
  • Design and implement process improvements, such as capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for senior leadership, lead projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation.
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements, participate in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives.
  • Take ownership of special projects, ad-hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience.
  • 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies, at least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is a plus).
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606, QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transaction experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, ability to work independently while acting with integrity and professionalism.
