Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate solutions to technical issues.

About the Role:

A Support Specialist is responsible for working with various systems, software, and hardware to diagnose and resolve problems. You will be handling inbound calls, emails, and chats from customers, identifying the root cause of their technical issues, and providing step-by-step solutions to resolve these issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with a high degree of accuracy
  • Provide second-level customer service and technical support
  • Manage and administer desktop tools, including Office 365 and Dropbox
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, VoIP devices, printing/scanning devices, software, and other products
  • Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions

Requirements:

To be successful as a Support Specialist, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a strong problem-solving ability. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and equipment support. A college graduate with a degree in computer science or a related field would be an added advantage.
