Project Coordinator Role

The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of IT projects. Their responsibilities include supporting project management activities, coordinating tasks, and communicating with team members and stakeholders.

In this capacity, they plan and schedule project work orders based on priorities and resource availability. They also coordinate with vendors, onsite contacts, and cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.

Key tasks include reviewing work orders to ensure all necessary information is available, tracking and closing out work order tickets upon completion, and submitting completed work orders for billing.

The Project Coordinator must maintain accurate records and documentation related to work orders, monitor performance to ensure response-time targets and service quality are met, and communicate proactively with customers.

Requirements
  • 1 year experience in project coordination
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to improve operational processes and follow structured project workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to guide team members when needed
  • Proficient in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office
