Data Insights Specialist

A Data Insights Specialist is required to work closely with business stakeholders, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with functional teams to identify key metrics and reporting needs.
- Facilitate workshops to uncover pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business goals into measurable KPIs and performance indicators.
Analytics and Insight Generation
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and actionable insights.
- Develop trusted reporting and analytics using Power BI.
- Collaborate with the Power BI Developer to build analytical models and dashboards.
Data Validation and Metric Governance
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of key business definitions across reporting and analytics.
- Support documentation of KPIs, including definitions, formulas, ownership, and rationale.
- Contribute to a trusted source-of-truth semantic layer in Power BI.
Enablement and Storytelling
- Deliver insights to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling and dashboard reviews.
- Help build a data-driven culture by enabling teams to ask better questions and explore answers using Power BI.
- Support training and onboarding for teams new to self-service analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications in data analysis are desirable but not required.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
- Experience working with modern BI tools and strong understanding of KPIs and performance measurement.
- Proven ability to work with stakeholders to define analytical requirements and deliver insights.
