Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence systems that provide insights into business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and improve existing reports across pre-construction and construction departments, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  2. Develop new dashboards and reporting solutions that provide clear insights into business performance, operational efficiency, forecasting, and project outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to understand their data needs and translate business questions into analytical tasks.
  4. Conduct data validation, cleaning, and analysis from various systems (e.g., project management tools, CRM).
  5. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or anomalies.
  6. Assist in building forecasting models for workload planning, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  7. Presentation of findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist or similar role, preferably within construction, property, or a related industry.
  • Strong proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI (or similar BI tools), and SQL.
  • Familiarity with database management and data visualization best practices.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
