Medical Intake Specialist Role Summary

This Medical Intake Specialist plays a vital part in our medical records retrieval process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and optimization for downstream success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provider Identification: Identify relevant providers associated with a client's treatment, beyond the primary facility submitted by the law firm.
  • Request Review & Quality Control: Review and correct incoming ROIs (Release of Information forms), which are often incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Request Assignment & Escalation: Assign requests to records team members based on workload and utilization.
  • Team Support & Process Enhancement: Provide backup support for urgent tasks such as payment processing or fax monitoring when needed.

Essential Qualifications: Prior experience requesting medical records from providers on behalf of law firms, with proven ability to meet turnaround time and throughput targets.
