Job Overview

The IT Director is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing the organization's technology vision, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all technology operations, policies, and systems to support company strategies and improve efficiency.
  • Empowering direct reports to manage systems and tasks independently, providing training and clear instructions.
  • Managing up to 8 direct reports, providing consistent project oversight and mentoring.
  • Conducting weekly team meetings, staffing reviews, and setting hiring goals.
  • Leading with empathy and accountability, supporting staff while driving performance and results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in IT management, with expertise in IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring IT teams, with demonstrated experience in strategic planning and project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and enterprise software solutions, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, and IT governance.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, or similar.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

  • Certifications (optional): PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Ability to manage resources effectively, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can enhance organizational performance.
