About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of technical systems to join our team as a Technical Support Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex technical issues, leading diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution efforts.
  • Rigorously document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and team processes, reviewing existing documentation for knowledge gaps and outdated information.
  • Closely monitor engineering escalations to identify trends and report findings to leadership.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and analyze customer environments to identify potential technical issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to assess issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions under pressure.
  • Advanced knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle), scripting (Python, Bash, Powershell), and DevOps tools and practices.
