About the Job

The Global Merchant Support Lead will be responsible for overseeing the onboarding process of new partners, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement. This role will also provide support to the commercial team in their relationship with partners through the use of internal tools and presenting relevant information.

This includes monitoring and improving merchant support metrics such as onboarding turnaround time, requirement completeness, and others. The hired candidate will work closely with the Commercial and Operations Manager in the Philippines and other business operations and merchant support team members from other countries to ensure alignment with local expectations.

  • Partner Support & Operations: Handle partner queries, support requests, and operational coordination ensuring timely and efficient resolution while maintaining a positive partner experience.
  • Documentation & Onboarding: Manage merchant/partner onboarding including documentation, data entry, and record-keeping streamlining the onboarding process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Store Management: Oversee store-related tasks including creation, closure, and clerk management ensuring smooth store operations and effective clerk management.
  • Operational Efficiency: Focus on optimizing processes and ensuring smooth collaboration between teams identifying bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, and facilitating communication between different functions.

The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tagalog be willing to work on-site in the Bonifacio Global City area and live within 1 hour's commute by public transport/car from the office. They should also promote an automation mindset and have robust knowledge and experience in data analysis (Strong SQL, Phyton, Spreadsheet, and Excel skills). Additionally, they should be familiar with ZOHO and Mode Analytics and have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent along with a minimum of 2 years of working in merchant/business analysis preferably in the finance industry.
