Qashier is looking for a Merchant Onboarding Coordinator (1 year contract) to support our growth We are a dynamic and fast growing team that is excited about commerce, retail and payments, and the opportunity to transform these industries with data and technology.
Reporting to the Head of Operations in the Philippines, you will play a pivotal role in securing all BIR Requirements of our merchants acting as a strategic bridge between our company and key government agencies, ensuring seamless compliance with all regulations and fostering strong, collaborative partnerships. With a focus on delivering exceptional Merchant Experience, you will be at the forefront of transforming how businesses manage their operations and payments.
Key Responsibilities- Merchant Onboarding: Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure smooth deployment of the Qashier system according to each merchant's requirements. Manage new merchant journey after sales hands over set requirements. Support merchant and assist them with their BIR requirements. Collaborate closely with Sales and Merchant Success team to ensure that merchant onboarding, account setup, and order fulfilment are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with merchants, ensuring their satisfaction and continued use of Qashier's services.
- Documentation Expert: You will meticulously manage and maintain all relevant documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- Data Analyst: You will analyze data and trends related to compliance, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting proactive solutions.
- Government Liaison: You will serve as the primary point of contact for all government-related matters, acting as a liaison between our company and agencies, including, but not limited to: Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR Permit Registration, Sworn declarations/statements, PTU, and decals Processing, SN Software); Local government units (for business permits); and others as needed.
- Conflict Resolution: Able to solve merchant queries related to commercial topics and come up with action plan.
- Any other adhoc tasks as requested by your manager.
Complete entire BIR Registration process within 7-14 business days, on behalf of our Merchants.
Requirements- Communication and Presentation Skills: Identify and be adaptable to communication styles of customers. Ability to understand and communicate accurately and effectively with external and internal stakeholders. Provide responsive and high quality communication with customers (even in heated or complicated situations). Ability to present company and products positively.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage workload and ensure that all deployments are on time. Ensure tickets are updated and moved to the correct pipelines/stages, for proper and easy reference. Follow processes to maintain an accurate and updated inventory list and status.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze setups/situations and inform stakeholders when potential complications are expected to happen, and take steps to minimise them. Translate data into presentable information for stakeholders to support organisation objectives (e.g hardware quality improvement).
- 0-1 year of experience in Operations, Administration.
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with good bilingual oral abilities (English and Filipino).
- Keen attention to detail and customer service oriented.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a strong ability to multitask.
- Passionate about technology, Fintech, and the retail space.
- Experience in the POS or payment systems industry, understanding the needs and challenges of merchants.
- Familiarity with Qashier's products or similar POS or Payments systems.
- Experience of onboarding merchants or customers in a tech-driven environment.
- Prior experience handling BIR applications is a plus.
