Job Title: Procurement Specialist

This is a role that plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessels and enhancing the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and revise purchase orders for approved service, repair, and material requisitions created in Infoship by Ships' management;
  • Identify potential suppliers by researching and sourcing options;
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials or parts for repair to their final destination;
  • Maintain proper documentation and provide follow-up as needed to guarantee arrival of supplies at their destination;
  • Promote efficient supply chain management practices and maintain records in accordance with the Purchasing Manual.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum Associate's Degree in Technical education or a background in technical trading field;
  • At least 1 year of technical purchasing experience, preferably in business or technical purchasing.

Desirable Traits:

  • Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented attitude;
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment;
  • Good command of the English language.
