Job Title: Asset Manager">

Planate Management Group is a leading provider of program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. As an asset manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the control, tracking, and movement of government and company-owned assets.

This is a nationwide project that requires someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.

The job entails maintaining accurate property records, supervising receipt, inspection, tagging, labeling, and secure storage of equipment, as well as managing property transfers, including documentation and coordination of related activities.

Additional responsibilities include overseeing logistics for site deliveries, staff travel, and equipment movements, preparing and submitting reports for any lost, damaged, or stolen property, and collaborating with the Global Support Team's Property Administrator to align asset management practices.

Other duties include conducting routine physical inventories and resolving any identified discrepancies, preparing records and documentation to support internal, external, and government audits, developing and implementing SOPs for effective asset handling, tracking, and control, monitoring property-related contract requirements to ensure full compliance, and working closely with procurement, warehousing, and finance teams for end-to-end asset lifecycle coordination.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in property and logistics management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in property and logistics management
  • Solid understanding of DoD property accountability standards and PIEE platforms
  • Hands-on experience with inventory control, shipping coordination, and asset transfers
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset/property management systems
  • Ability to support audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and working independently in fast-paced settings
