Asset Management Specialist

This is a key role for overseeing the control, tracking, and movement of assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate records.

The Asset Management Specialist supports audits, inventory, and transfer processes while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accuracy of asset records in Master Government Property Lists
  • Managing property transfers and related documentation
  • Overseeing logistics for site deliveries, staff travel, and equipment movements
  • Preparation and submission of reports for lost, damaged, or stolen property
  • Collaboration with Global Support Team's Property Administrator to align asset management practices
  • Routine physical inventories and resolution of discrepancies
  • Supporting internal, external, and government audits with prepared records and documentation
  • Development and implementation of SOPs for effective asset handling, tracking, and control
  • Monitoring contract requirements for full compliance
  • Close collaboration with procurement, warehousing, and finance teams for end-to-end asset lifecycle coordination

Qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in property and logistics management
  • Solid understanding of DoD property accountability standards and PIEE platforms
  • Hands-on experience with inventory control, shipping coordination, and asset transfers
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset/property management systems
  • Ability to support audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and working independently in fast-paced settings
