Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for handling end-to-end general accounting functions at LBC Express, Inc. This includes timely and accurate submission of management reports, such as Operating Income Statement (OIS) reporting with variance analysis, Trial Balance supported with Accounts Reconciliation Analysis (ARA) schedules, and Draft Financial Statement (FS) during year-end external audit.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting, general accounting, and supervision. They will be responsible for supervising a team of accountants, reviewing working papers and adjusting journal entries, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the books of the Company, and liaising with external auditors.

The Accounting Supervisor will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. They will be knowledgeable in Philippine GAAP and PFRS, as well as automated financial and accounting reporting systems, particularly SAP. A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and CPA certification are required. Experience in logistics and freight forwarding industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Team in performing financial book closing activities
  • Review working papers and adjusting journal entries
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the books of the Company by analyzing all transactions posted into the system
  • Liaise and work with external auditors in completing the statutory reporting requirements
