About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Staff Accountant with a strong background in accounting principles and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, identifying areas of improvement and suggesting cost-saving measures.
  • General Ledger Management: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the General Ledger system.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconciliation: Perform meticulous reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Closing Processes: Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, guaranteeing timely completion and accuracy.
  • Accruals and Prepayments: Effectively manage accruals for expenses incurred but not yet paid and prepayments for expenses paid in advance.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Degree: A degree in accounting or a related field is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with the team.
  • Authorization to Work: Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.

This role requires prolonged sitting/standing while using a computer and telephone headset. Occasional movement around the office may be necessary to accomplish tasks, reach, raise/lower objects, move objects, hold objects, and exert force up to forty pounds.
