Job Summary

The Financial Operations Associate will be responsible for performing various financial operations tasks, including bank reconciliations, journal processing, and payroll journals uploading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile bank statements across multiple entities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Clear account (weekly) reconciliations for all entities.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in monthly direct debit reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit regular business activity statements.
  • Process journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Upload weekly, monthly, and fortnightly payroll journals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.
  • Support internal audit processes as required.
  • Participate in business improvement initiatives focusing on automation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience (2-3 years) in financial operations or accounting roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting markets in AU/US/EMEA/APAC.
  • Bookkeeping or partial CPA qualification preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS tools.
  • Familiarity with accounting software is ideal.
