About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Operations Associate to join our organization.
This role will work cross-functionally with the Finance team and support business operations, focusing on customer payment application, account reconciliation, data accuracy within our internal tools, and handling finance-related inquiries from teams.
Responsibilities- Payment Application: Accurately apply incoming customer payments to their corresponding invoices in our accounting system.
- Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries regarding payments, invoice discrepancies, cancellations, and general document requests via email.
- Maintain Financial Records: Maintain and update financial records and data within our CRM (Salesforce and HubSpot).
- Reconciliation: Assist with daily and monthly reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure all payments are correctly posted and accounts are balanced.
- General Inquiry: Assist the Support Team with general inquiries via our ticketing system.
- 1–3 years of financial operations, accounting, or bookkeeping experience
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot preferred
- Experience working with financial tools (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting
