Product Strategist

The Product Strategist owns the product catalog from end to end, encompassing strategy formulation, supplier partnerships, technical support, and procurement. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Be the internal go-to expert on products sold, their significance, and stock maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate across teams, work with manufacturers, launch new products, and ensure readiness to meet customer demand.
  • Own the full lifecycle of products – from sourcing, technical setup, through launch, documentation, inventory forecasting, and restocking.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Act as the internal authority for all product-related inquiries.
  • Support technical scoping and assist on large or complex RFQs.
  • Train internal teams and provide tools simplifying sales and support processes.
  • Develop and maintain spec sheets, documentation, and internal product resources.
Key Requirements:
  • 2–5 years of experience in product management, technical sales, engineering, or catalog operations.
  • Familiarity with flow control, automation, or mechanical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and spec sheets.
  • Comfortable speaking with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in outcome ownership.
