About the Role

As a senior data engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing complex data solutions using Azure services. Your primary objective will be to ensure scalability, efficiency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy large-scale data pipelines and integration solutions incorporating data from SAP and Salesforce.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Azure cloud services including Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Machine Learning.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability throughout the ETL lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience as a data engineer with a focus on Azure Data Platform.
  • Strong proficiency in:

  • Databricks
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Azure Cognitive Services
  • Azure Cosmos DB or NoSQL databases
  • Solid understanding of warehouse, lake, and lakehouse architectures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from enterprise platforms like SAP and Salesforce.
  • Relevant Azure certification: DP-203 (Associate) or AZ-305.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL development.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with DAMA principles is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
