Lead Technology Project Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned project management professional to oversee the delivery of technology solutions across various domains.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will manage complex project lifecycles from initiation to closure, ensuring clarity, accountability, and measurable progress at every stage.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee projects involving data pipelines, dashboard/reporting solutions, and IT infrastructure.

This role plays a pivotal part in driving business growth through effective project governance and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Project Initiation: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Project Execution: Manage project execution, including task assignment, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Project Closure: Ensure project deliverables are met, and lessons learned are documented.
Essential Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, with proven success in delivering technical and/or product-focused projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Hybrid.
  • Experience managing software development projects, particularly those involving Agile or Hybrid delivery methods.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft-based technology stacks (e.g. Power BI, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure).
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are desirable:

  • Prince2 certification.
  • Experience with data/ETL workflows, dashboards, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Commercial awareness – able to align project delivery with business priorities and value.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills; comfortable managing multiple workstreams concurrently.
