IT Project Manager Position

The IT project manager oversees the entire lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to scope and budget, and alignment with business objectives. This involves coordinating with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to guarantee successful project delivery.

This position requires excellent leadership skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques.
  • Lead teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Liaise with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
  • Implement best practices for IT project management to minimize risks.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Candidates must have necessary resources, hardware, and software.
  • Candidates must have fast, reliable, secure internet connection.
