Financial Record Coordinator Position

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced individual to join our Tax team as a Financial Record Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring efficiency in financial transactions. They will also work closely with Tax professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial data.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including day-to-day transactions and postings
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and distribute financial statements, reports, and budgets as required
  • Support audits by providing accurate and readily available financial data
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including IFRS or U.S GAAP
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and MS Excel
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Bookkeeping certification or prior experience
  • Prior experience or certification in Tax Preparation
  • General knowledge of business formation processes
  • Prior experience in a similar role
