Job Title: Legal Support Specialist

We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to assist attorneys in all stages of legal work, including research, document preparation, case management, and administrative support. This role involves conducting thorough research, drafting and proofreading documents, organizing and maintaining case files, and coordinating communications with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research using databases and resources to gather relevant information.
  • Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and court filings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, discovery, and legal databases to facilitate efficient access to critical information.
  • Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and meetings by coordinating logistics and providing necessary support.
  • File documents with courts and government agencies within specified deadlines.
  • Summarize depositions, transcripts, and witness statements to distill key points and insights.
  • Coordinate communications with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to ensure effective collaboration and timely resolution of matters.
  • Monitor deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly to meet project goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, systems, and procedures is essential.
  • Familiarity with U.S. legal systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly is crucial.
