Job Summary:

As a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and reliability of our network infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality service in the hospitality technology sector.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring network systems, diagnosing issues, and providing advanced support to both internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Monitoring:
    • Continuously monitor the network infrastructure for performance issues, outages, and service disruptions.
    • Utilize monitoring tools to ensure optimal network operation and identify anomalies.
  2. Incident Management:
    • Respond promptly to alerts and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
    • Perform initial diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve issues effectively.
  3. Technical Support:
    • Provide advanced technical support to internal staff and external clients regarding network connectivity and application issues.
    • Escalate incidents to appropriate teams when necessary, ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
  4. Documentation:
    • Document all incidents, changes, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
    • Create and maintain knowledge base articles to assist team members and improve support processes.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with network engineers and other technical teams to implement solutions and enhance network performance.
    • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing issues and process improvements.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify trends in network performance and areas for improvement.
    • Contribute to process optimization initiatives to enhance overall service delivery.
  7. Project Participation:
    • Assist in the implementation of new networks and technology upgrades as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a NOC or network support role.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools is a plus.
