Job Overview

This is a senior management role that oversees the day-to-day operations of non-exempt work groups. The Operations Manager is responsible for supervising team leaders and their representatives, providing input into selecting, training, developing, and completing performance appraisals in accordance with organizational policies and applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Managing team leaders to provide high-quality services that meet client needs while supporting organizational goals and policies.
  • Ensuring optimum productivity and service level goals are maintained at all times.
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients while continuously striving to improve overall service levels.
  • Developing team leads to ensure top performance.
  • Day-to-day management of accounts and related issues.
  • Monitoring, measuring, reporting, and analyzing data to improve call centre performance.
  • Identifying and resolving performance, behavior, and attendance issues using prescribed performance management techniques.
  • Responsible for staffing and hiring.
  • Providing subject matter expertise.
  • Conducting regular team meetings with direct reports.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Up-to-date management skills and understanding of employee motivation.
  • Working knowledge of key performance indicators and ability to drive appropriate behavior.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Operations/Program Manager.
