Paraplanning Role

This is a specialist role where you will work closely with a Financial Planner to formulate suitable advice strategies for clients. Your expertise as a Paraplanner will be valued, and your career can flourish in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review File Notes provided by the planner, transcribing from audio recordings.
  • Verify Fact Find completeness and enter information into Financial Planning Software.
  • Conduct pre-flight audits of Advice files to ensure all necessary information has been provided.
  • Review research on existing products.
  • Prepare Product Cost Comparisons/Quotes.
  • Perform financial modeling of current and recommended positions.
  • Formulate preliminary Strategy Papers (BIDs) for approval by Advisers.
  • Prepare Paraplanning submissions for SOA creation or produce the advice document.
  • Update workflow and systems as directed by clients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or related courses.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Paraplanning.
  • Advanced Diploma of Paraplanning and training on XPLAN.
