Accounting Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and quality in financial statements and tax returns. You will also oversee corporate tax compliance, manage payroll processes, and assist in preparing statutory accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements and tax returns
  • Oversee corporate tax compliance and manage payroll processes
  • Assist in preparing statutory accounts and other financial reports
  • Work closely with junior accountants to provide guidance and support

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and regulations
  • Experience in reviewing and overseeing the work of junior accountants
  • Tax and compliance expertise, including knowledge of VAT, P11Ds, and statutory accounts
  • Payroll management experience and HMRC compliance knowledge
  • Leadership and team delegation skills
  • Software proficiency in Xero and other UK accounting software
