Disability Case Specialist Role

As a Disability Case Specialist, you will work closely with clients and their employees to provide support in achieving better health outcomes.

The role involves adjudicating disability eligibility for short and long-term benefits, coordinating interventions, and working collaboratively with insured employees, lawyers, and healthcare practitioners.

You will conduct telephone interviews to develop outcome-focused case management plans, identify medical and non-medical influencing factors, functional capability, restrictions, and limitations, and build strong relationships with clients and employers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjudicate disability eligibility for short and long-term benefits.
  • Coordinate interventions, including Independent Medical Evaluations and Functional Capacity Evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively with insured employees, clients, lawyers, and healthcare practitioners.
  • Conduct telephone interviews to develop outcome-focused case management plans.
  • Identify medical and non-medical influencing factors, functional capability, restrictions, and limitations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Nursing or allied medical courses.
  • At least 2 years related experience in disability case management.
  • Strong BPO Healthcare experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and ability to navigate complex systems.
