Financial Planning Assistant Job

This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance-related business, completing financial and other administrative tasks.

A background in finance, lending, or a related field is also required.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in MS Office and strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with loan customers.

Prior experience with Paraplanning in Australia is preferred, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and lodging forms and documentation for superannuation, investments, insurance, and other financial products as directed.
  • Tracking implementation tasks and following up on outstanding items.
  • Managing internal databases and updating client records in line with compliance requirements.
  • Drafting emails and client correspondence for adviser review.
  • Assisting with report generation and other general admin tasks.
  • Liaising with providers or platforms (via email or phone) when necessary.
  • Ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail in all work submitted.
  • Supporting other ad hoc tasks as required by the financial planning team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance-related business.
  • A background in finance, lending, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Proficiency in Zoho, CRM Zoho Desk, and Plutosoft.
