Provide Exceptional Patient Care
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service to patients over the phone, schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, and maintain accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities- Offer professional and courteous greetings to callers
- Schedule primary care appointments, including annual exams, chronic care follow-ups, acute visits, and preventive screenings
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, including co-pays, deductibles, and network status
- Maintain and update patient records accurately in a secure electronic health record system
- Assist with patient portal setup and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine or internal medicine.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proficiency in electronic health record systems, including scheduling, documentation, and patient communication features
- Strong knowledge of primary care visit types, referral processes, and insurance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
