Job Title: Remote Medical Transcriptionist

Job Description

This role involves transcribing live patient calls and taking dictations from clients in a remote setting.

As a medical transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio files into written text, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe live patient calls and take dictations from clients
  • Convert audio files and download to Express Scribe
  • Transcribe within 24 hours all files received during the day
  • Ensure high accuracy in transcription of audio files sent by clients
  • Proofread all transcriptions prior to entering data in visit notes
  • Enter data in EMR Visit Note once proofreading is completed
  • Notify clients after completion of entering data in IMS Visit Note
  • Complete all dictations for the day from clients
  • Perform additional tasks dependent on client requests
Requirements:
  • Must have a medical background
  • At least 1 year experience in medical transcription
  • Good attention to detail
  • Typing speed of 55 WPM with high accuracy in transcription
  • Good listening, comprehension, and research skills
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminologies
  • Ability to focus and concentrate with minimal distraction
