Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage day-to-day operations and lead month-end closes for multiple U.S. clients across various industries. As an experienced U.S. Accounting Manager, you will develop accounting policies and procedures, oversee AP, AR, and cash management, manage daily bookkeeping, facilitate support staff transitions, review payroll processing, and perform month-over-month flux analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Management and AP
    • Review invoices for proper coding and provide guidance to team members
    • Prioritize and process vendor invoices after client approval
    • Oversee quarterly 1099 checks
  • AR and Cash Management
    • Manage the accounts receivable cycle
    • Analyze weekly cash flow forecasts and communicate changes with stakeholders
    • Monitor cash flow and make recommendations to clients
  • Daily Bookkeeping
    • Maintain organization of data rooms
    • Manage weekly transaction cycles
  • People
    • Facilitate support staff transitions on clients
    • Review and approve payroll processing in accordance with client schedules
  • Month-End Close
    • Lead month-end close procedures in accordance with established checklists
    • Review bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Investigate variances and make journal entry corrections as needed
    • Perform month-over-month flux analysis and document findings
    • Draft monthly reporting packages for Client Leads
  • Compliance
    • Review compliance filings such as licensing and corporate insurance
    • Assist accountants with preparation of annual tax returns and audits
    • Manage year-end 1099 filings
