Senior Accountant Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our remote finance team.

This is a key role for an experienced professional with a strong foundation in US GAAP, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and the ability to manage full-cycle accounting in a dynamic environment.

About the Position
  • Oversight of day-to-day accounting operations, including monthly and year-end close processes.
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
  • Support for accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing of transactions.
  • Preparation of reports, assistance with tax filings, compliance documentation, and audit support.
  • Partnership with the Finance Director to streamline accounting workflows and optimize financial operations.
  • Management of QuickBooks for daily entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Assistance on ad-hoc financial projects and administrative tasks related to finance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proven experience using QuickBooks in a professional setting.
  • Preferred: Background in e-commerce or retail accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret and communicate complex data clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with global teams across time zones.
