Job Opportunity

This is an ideal role for a highly skilled professional with experience in hiring and recruiting in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the Japanese market. The successful candidate will have expertise, agility, professionalism, dedication, and a proactive attitude to deliver excellent results in sourcing and hiring while improving TA processes and capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sourcing and hiring results for manufacturing roles while enhancing client and candidate experiences and strengthening our brand presence.
  • Develop project strategies including employer branding, sourcing channels, assessment, and onboarding elements, and gain buy-in from clients.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders (Hiring Managers, Leadership, HR, TA) and position us as trusted partners who protect client brand, culture, and values.
  • Create and post job adverts using client brand guidelines and manage applications professionally.
  • Directly source and headhunt suitable candidates; screen applicants to present shortlists to relevant decision-makers.
  • Guide Hiring Managers through the shortlist and manage the candidate journey with a professional, candidate-centric approach.
Requirements
  • Japanese talent acquisition experience is critical, with a proven track record of success in this field.
  • Experience hiring for roles in the manufacturing space is essential, with knowledge of the sector's specific challenges and requirements.
  • Utilise and maintain our ATS and any other client/project systems, ensuring seamless data management and analysis.
  • Write updates and analyse relevant business data; stay aware of market trends and competitor activity for candidates.
  • Comply with company standards on values and ethics in all delivery and client interactions, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Be a solid generalist/corporate TA professional capable of managing a range of roles, with adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Japanese is helpful, with English proficiency required for global communication and collaboration.
