eCommerce Brand Manager Job Description:

As a seasoned e-commerce professional, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the online store on the Shopify platform. This role requires a blend of strategy and hands-on execution, managing all aspects of the platform to meet business goals.

  • Store Management & Operations:
    • Manage day-to-day operations of the Shopify store, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
    • Conduct regular site audits to ensure accurate and up-to-date content, pricing, and product information.
    • Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance store functionality and user experience.
  • Brand & Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop and implement multi-channel brand marketing campaigns across digital and experiential platforms.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand message across all touchpoints.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform brand positioning and new product launches.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization:
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on key e-commerce metrics such as sales, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
    • Use data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement A/B testing on site elements, marketing campaigns, and user flows.
    • Optimize the store for search engine visibility (SEO) and user experience (UX) to improve site traffic and conversions.
  • Collaboration & Project Management:
    • Work directly with design and development teams to scope and launch new features, design updates, and custom functionality for the Shopify storefront.
    • Translate business needs and creative vision into clear, actionable requirements for developers.
    • Coordinate project timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget execution of site enhancements and redesigns.
  • Customer Experience & Communication:
    • Ensure an exceptional and seamless customer journey from browsing to post-purchase.
    • Engage with customers to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster a strong community around the brand.
    • Work with the customer service team to address and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.

This is a mid-senior level position, working full-time, in the software development industry.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or brand management. You should also have an excellent understanding of the Shopify platform and its backend functions, proficiency in e-commerce analytics tools, and familiarity with digital marketing channels.
