About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Market Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will play a crucial role in identifying high-value company and leadership targets, delivering actionable insights that inform investment and acquisition strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Market Mapping: Conduct in-depth research on companies with strong potential for exit opportunities within target sectors such as healthcare, biotech, and advanced manufacturing.
  • Leadership Profiling: Identify and assess CEOs and senior leaders with established histories of driving business growth through to successful acquisitions or exits.
  • Deal Value Assessment: Analyze and compile comprehensive data on past transactions, including deal sizes, structures, and strategic motivations behind them.
  • Market Trend Reporting: Track and interpret industry shifts and sentiment, delivering concise reports and executive briefings for the investment team.
  • Actionable Insight Delivery: Translate research findings into clear, practical recommendations enabling investment and portfolio teams to act quickly on opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or related fields
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in collecting and analyzing data to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential risks
