Shopify Web Developer Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative web developer to join our team as a Shopify Web Developer & Social Media Specialist. This role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining our Shopify store for optimal performance and conversion.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Shopify theme customization, app integrations, and troubleshooting, as well as proficiency in HTML/CSS/Liquid and Shopify admin features. Additionally, the candidate should have strong graphic design skills, knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices, and excellent English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, customize, and maintain our Shopify store for optimal performance and conversion;
  • Launch new product pages, landing pages, and promotional campaigns;
  • Integrate apps, marketing tools, and analytics platforms;
  • Ensure a mobile-optimized, visually engaging, and user-friendly store experience;
  • Monitor and improve site SEO, page speed, and conversion rates;
  • Plan and post daily content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook;
  • Create eye-catching graphics, short videos, and engaging captions that match our fun, bold brand voice;
  • Manage community engagement—reply to comments, messages, and tagged posts;
  • Run paid ad campaigns and track performance;
  • Collaborate with influencers and brand partners to boost reach.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years working with Shopify (theme customization, app integrations, troubleshooting);
  • Minimum 2 years managing brand social media accounts;
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS/Liquid and Shopify admin features;
  • Strong graphic design ability (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator);
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices;
  • Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal;
  • Creative and proactive problem solver;
  • Able to work independently while meeting deadlines;
  • Flexible with U.S. business hours for collaboration.
