Senior Accounting Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced senior accountant to fill this key role. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and quality of financial statements, VAT returns, corporate tax returns, and other accounting deliverables.

You will oversee the preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and P11Ds while ensuring regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will supervise and review UK payroll processes, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.

As a senior accountant, you will also assist in preparing statutory accounts for UK limited companies in accordance with UK accounting standards. You will work closely with junior bookkeepers providing guidance and constructive feedback while ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and overseeing the work of junior accountants
  • Preparing and submitting UK corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and P11Ds
  • Supervising and reviewing UK payroll processes
  • Assisting in preparing statutory accounts for UK limited companies
  • Providing guidance and feedback to junior bookkeepers
