Real Estate Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Valuation Specialist to join our team. This role involves financial modeling, market research, and preparing reports to support investment decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Research real estate databases for comparable data, analyze the data, and write an analysis explaining/supporting findings in detail.
- Analyze real estate investments, including acquisitions and developments.
- Create financial models to assess property performance and returns.
- Research market trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and clients.
- Assist with due diligence, including reviewing leases and financial documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Research and analyze real estate databases, identify comparable properties, and create detailed analysis reports.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals to inform investment decisions.
- Financial Modeling: Create complex financial models to assess property performance and returns.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous work experience as a Real Estate Analyst or similar role.
- Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Real Estate.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; financial modeling experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with FileMaker Pro and internet searching skills.
- Knowledge of real estate terms and metrics (e.g., cap rates, NOI, IRR).
